Here’s the link to the Blu-ray test pattern program: http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=948496 . This program has a lot of very useful test patterns yet to be found elsewhere. It takes more computer savvy than I have to download and burn it, so I haven’t used it. The BD of ‘DVE: HD Basics’ is much more elaborately produced and has many sophisticated features not found on the free test pattern program at AVS. It is also more universally compatible on the various players that are in the field.
