Hi Guys, I have a client with an LG55EC930V. He is desperately wanting to circumvent the ABL circuitry and has accessed the service menu. He has been playing with the Dimming option which appears to switch the ABL off. However, whenever he comes out of the service menu the off setting isn’t saved. So, I said I’d see whether anyone had any more info on this? Is it at all possible to circumvent the ABL in this or any other way? Btw, he doesn’t seem to care that switching ABL off might damage his TV.
