Mitsubishi L75-A94 LaserVue 2p Grayscale Problem

The 2011 Mitsubishi A94 LaserVues have a CMS and 2p Grayscale in the ADV modes.
The 2010 A91s calibrated both on the fly as can be expected, however, the A94s don’t work the same and it is probably some sort of software mistake on the part of the manufacturer.

I own an A94 and have spent lots of time with it. The CMS calibrates properly but the Grayscale is broken. To get a result when adjusting Gains, the Menu button must be pressed and then return to the adjustments before a change can be observed. The Cuts don’t work at all. Full range adjustments result in no change whatsoever.

I have notified Mitsubishi of the problem but so far they have taken no action.

I noticed the same thing…i just did the WB in the service mode, then did the CMS in the adv menu. Seemed to work well this way.

I have the A91 Service Manual but not one for the A94. The A91 manual shows no GS adjustment capability that I can find. What is the key sequence for the A94? Thanks in advance.

same as for all the Mits (of recent years).
menu 2457, then use the video button to select the item.

Firmware V46_13_03 was released yesterday and the problem with the malfunctioning ADV1 & 2 mode Grayscale controls has been fixed.
