I have a project TV sitting in my living room and have played with it a bit and came up empty handed. It is a KV-34XBR800. After looking at the SM code forum which is press Display…5…vol up…power or Display…5…power I am still not seeing the SM.

Any suggestions. I am not sure if the … is a pause or a hold or just dots. This was build in 2002 and does not have a toothpick hole in the back panel that I can see unless someone knows otherwise.

What can be said about this TV compared to the following other models:34xbr 910 or the 34xbr960.

    Regards

    Holden

    with the TV off
    display – 5 – vol up – power on.

If the above doesnt work, replace the batteries in the remote.

It works now I think it was the pausing, Does any one know how to operate the white balance controls if they exist and other then the three default colour temperatures in the user menu is there additional controls to lower the cct?
