    I did a cal on an RS67 with ISF Cal 5. Unfortunately, it was buggy and ended up not being any better than the user controls.
    I did a custom gamma with the software, 16 point. I followed the instructions, which I am familiar with having used previous versions of the ISF and THX SW on older JVCs. It worked fairly well until I disconnected and either a) cycled inputs b) changed scan rates or c) cycled pic modes, after which the custom gamma was “forgotten” and the measurements were as if I had not done the 16 pt. The CMS and all other controls worked fine, but those are available in the normal user modes.

    Will the new Calibrator VI software be uploaded here? My JVC guy is on holidays until the new year. If no one has it yet, I’ll upload it when I get it.

    working on it…not sure there is a software this year…there will be a software for use with the Spyder4….more details to follow over the next couple of days.

    I brought it to attention with Joel and JVC. JVC has assured me there’s a team at the highest levels getting this answered. I will be forwarded an ETA on release and let you guys know. Gregg you may also get an answer before me at CES since everyone is there, anyways.

    Ive been speaking with Datacolor….they have no knowledge of the JVC software. They have also told me that the s4 probe has not been produced for more than 1 year. ….Ill keep updating here as I learn more.

    Gregg what exactly this software do?
    Can we use it instead of using clibration software like chrumapure?

    Ive not used it.
    It will only work with a Spyder4….
    you can do some gamma correction etc….then I would use a manual program to correct S4 errors and further improve.

    Version 6 is for european JVC Projectors X5000, X7000 and X9000 and similar U.S. and Pro-Models of the new lineup.
    The most important feature right now might be the possibility to add the new Colorpreset BT2020 to
    your projector by using the upload option of the software.

    This Preset is necessary if you want to use the mentioned projectors for Ultra HD Bluray incl. HDR.
