The AVS disc does not work in Samsung players (some) and some Panasonic players. It does seem to work in Sony, PS3, Pioneer and the 1st gen Panasonic player. also works on the LG uni player.
On the non compatible ones … the files have to be written to BD discs … way expensive.
I carry back up ISO files of these discs in the Hard drive on the laptop just in case I lose or break the discs. Since it’s all free … sometimes I give it away to clients too.
The DVE works much faster on the Samsung machines now with the latest firmware update. Joe actually complained about one of these un-named brands in his article in the WSR. It was the Samsung … but it is lightning fast now by comparison.
