For an 9G Elite TV, from standby, press the Home Key on the remote and within 3 seconds press the Power Button. Verify the baud rate (bottom banner) is at 9600 (should be default, though today, one calibrator was having problems and the display was set to 2400bps).
What model was it today? Could you Power On / Off the Display with the buttons in the Pioneer Display Profile?
