No, shouldn’t be – the causes for this are:

[]Wrong Display Profile used for that Pioneer Model.
[]For Elite Monitors – Serial Port ID # not set to ALL (you can still Power On/Off the Display if not set to ALL
[]Cable and/or serial port/adapter issue (including damaged cable – you may be able to Power On/Off but the cable got damaged and you can’t enter the ISFccc Interface – is more common than we like).

What specific Model were you working on?
