Re: Recommended procedure for Panasonic VT50
Ok, newby question. 2012 VT50. I haven’t taken the THX class, so I have no idea how to calibrate the THX modes (maybe that’s my penance for having not taken the class yet). I’m ok with that; however, I am confused as to the process idiosyncrasies for THX modes v ISF modes.
Here’s the question. If I want to activate the ISF modes, then do I do it via CalMAN or prior to loading calman (doing it in the picture mode by -thought from memory -hover over the PRO settings and hold down yada, yada, and it activates or provides two more calibration options (ISF in this case))?
Or, do I connect with CalMAN, then do either a manual or AutoCal?
Once I am done, will the modes show up as a picture mode or do I need to do something else?
I’m sure this is simple, but I am hesitant to start pushing buttons to see if I can kill the display.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
