One last question, I am also going to calibrate a sharp aquos LC46D64U in two weeks, I have a friend who has one and I was messing with it earlier, I got into the service menu and saw alot of alien writing on it, are you familiar with that tv? I saw some gamma settings, it looked like a 6 point system but there is nowhere in the service manual that tells you the values for each setting. I’m flying blind here.
Should I just stick with the user menu settings? There is cms but it’s 12 points only, if I remember correctly in class you said it needs 18 points or else it won’t work right. Should I just leave it alone? Thanks.
