I agree that it should be ~ $30 to $50 for the calibrator. I would send in ~$20 everytime just to tell customer THX certified calibration, for results to be checked, and for the THX Certified Video Calibration certificate / Thank you letter. Most of my business is in competition with the chain companies and by adding additional cost for items that don’t increase the picture quality it makes it a hard sell for me to take the hit with price competition. Some small THX video calibrated clear stickers with white writing would be great to put on corner of television or below manufacturer name on front of monitor would be great and would be seen by friends watching monitor to spur up word of mouth business. Couldn’t be happier with decision to take course and get into the business. Really enjoy what doing now and learning more with every day and display.
