When I enter the ST30 service mode for adjusting grayscale (for the cinema mode) it shows Vivid. Can this be changed to Cinema? Do grayscale settings made in the service mode affect all of the user modes?

Also. I’m finding it next to impossible to flatten gamma with the GS 2p in both the service menu and in the custom mode of the user menu. Is this normal?

1. Yes u can change it Cinema. I believe Cinema mode GS effects THX, Cinema, True Cinema mode (VT30). Gamma is not ruler flat in the ST30 I believe. Not sure if u r refering to ST30 or the VT30. The VT30 does have 10point to flatten it though.
