I would like to hear other’s opinion of the Stewart Filmscreen Micro-Perf vs. Screen Research ‘s ClearPix. I am mainly interested in opinions pertaining to video quality. Thanks.

    Hi Prather,

I have never worked with Screen Research, but a friend of mine did do a signficant study on various screens (not sure if screen research was in the lot), but the result was the Stewart StudioTek 130 screen was the screen with the least amount of color shifting and best overall performance. Hope this helps. I believe SMX was the worst performer with a bad color shift into green/cyan which helped improve their perceived “brightness” (although I wouldn’t swear in court on that one). I think he posted the results on another closed site, but I don’t remember where as it has been a couple of years.

How would you rate the image quality on a Stewart perf screen? How would you compare it to a non-perf Stewart?
