    “always try to use the original TV remote where possible. Things like Harmony remotes and other all in one remotes may not have all the buttons you need to press”

    For Models 7700, 8720

    * Menu … up … down … up … down … up … down

    * Confirm that the grayscale controls in the user settings actually memorize the changes you make. On some units, the values on the user side will not be memorized. The only way to make the grayscale changes stay is to do it in the service menu and store the changes to one of the 5 grayscale memory banks.

    For Model 8700 (+)

    * With unit already on … press Menu … Power ON … Menu to access the service area.

    * Fonts in the lower corner change in color from blue to red.

    * Grayscale values are tied to the type of input you are plugged into on the projector.

    * Remember to save changes in the service area to both video and graphics grayscale areas.

    * To Exit the Service menu … press Menu … Power ON … Menu.
