Would it make sense to calibrate a panel and then when complete, again through an AVR?
When I have a typical system with a panel, avr and numerous devices I can’t help but think to get the panel
as accurate as I can and then via the AVR

Always calibrate directly from signal generator to the panel.
Then
Calibrate signal generator through AVR to panel.
Adjust the AVR to match the direct calibration.
