I would like a better understanding about the page dynamic range in the SI basic, advanced & professional calibration workflow. from what I have learned it can be used to set the contrast control. with the RGB lines straight & just before they start to bend. I still us the sencore VP403C unit that works for me. (I get calls sometimes.) I would like to learn more about the ( select the datapoint levels: ) set to – clipping or clipping with peak white.. I do see that setting the contrast too high means that brightness needs to be set to were the its not just blacker then black but. some for the black level bars needs to go away also.. ?

You should probably just follow how to set contrast based on how it was taught in class. Just because a software package has a feature does not mean you need to use it.
