    Has anyone come accross an LCD PC monitor that can self calibrate or that can be can be calibrated using normal techniques?

    PC monitors are typically calibrated via the graphics card gui … where all the controls are typically found.

    Must calibrate to the desktop and video as well … so has to be done twice …

    I should have explained that this is for a production studio. So a better way to phrase this would be “What LCD monitors have the best native color accuracy and calibration capability for critical viewing?” Are the so called “professional” monitors any better than a consumer model for color accuracy?

    I have a EIZO ColorEdge CG222W. Comes with ColorNavigator software so all you need is a supported measurement device.

    Panasonic Professional makes Broadcast monitors. Here is the web site:
