    What is the best value for D65 color temperature?8000K or 6500K?

    neither.

    x. 313 y .329 = D65

    Thank you Greeg
    But I want to calibrate a JVC projector ,I have to specify a color tempeture in its setting.I couldn’t leave it blank or disable it.
    So what value should I enter?

    you select which ever preset that gets you closest to D65….

    Remember…the goal is to get to Central Park, in NYC….try to start in NJ and not in LA!!
