dvdo VP50PRO HELP

I now have the DVDO VP50PRO unit in my system. I need some help with a few setting in the setup menu.

1. COLOR SPACE OUTPUT should i leave it on RGB or use one of the YCbCr 4.2.2-4.4.4
2. FINE DETAIL – EDGE ENHANCEMENT RANGE. Should I use the VP403C SHARPNESS Pattern to fine tune. or is there another Pattern people are having better luck with.

I am of the understanding that if your display can be set to accept the YCbCr 4.2.2-4.4.4 then it is the superior connection. As I learned with my signal generator however some sets can only accept RGB input. This occurs specifically on the Digital HDMI inputs not on the analog component. The results of a display that doesn’t accept the signal are obvious grayscale / color issues.

All of my components in my system are HDMI output to the VP50PRO. Exept the leaser that I am using S-VIDEO output with.

1. use component video….DVDs are component not RGB.
2. that pattern is fine….also consider resolution patterns (2ndary to the sharpness pattern).
