Jeti 1211 and 3D

Not getting any concrete info on this.
I read somewhere that the Jeti 1211 cannot be used for 3D due to its refresh rate lock that locks to the shutter and not the native refresh rate of the display.
I have a EyeOne Pro and a K-10. If this was true, then the K-10 shd be the same. However, I hv put glasses in front of a K-10 and built profiles from a EyeOne Pro with glasses on and have been successful in getting repeatable results with reference to the results of the eyeOne pro.
Has anyone experience with this or can Michael or Gregg confirm that the K-10 and the Jeti cannot be used for 3D calibrations?
