This projector is ISF certified but without a number keypad on the remote, I am unaware of how to get the ISF modes to replace Expert 1 and 2…any help??

Also, I played with it for a while and had several issues. The preset color temps (natural, cool, warm, etc,) have no effect what-so-ever NONE in either the cinema or expert modes… ???

So you are forced to start at 7500K, but then you run into massive color shifting on the top end as soon as you start to adjust even just?

Lastly the color space was quite expanded but I din’t see any way to reduce it. There are one axis controls that allow you to tighten up color luminance at least.

I did not have much time as audio was the first focus but I am going back. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

…guess I am on an island with this one! According to LG, the color temp controls are definitely NOT placebo and the unit should be returned for repair. That said the customer does not want to fool with the return sooo….. I will see what I can accomplish with the grayscale controls on the Onkyo preamp he has in line….

    There are 3 gamma presets

there are RGB Contrast and RGB Brightness controls.

There does not appear to me gamut adjustments. I would try different picture presets.

    Good luck.

I agree the gamut controls are not listed in that manual but they are in fact available for the cinema and expert 1 and 2 modes (which I would think would be the best gamble for starting points). It is a one axis luminance control for each primary and secondary.

http://www.projectorreviews.com/lg/cf181d/index.php about half way down. The gamma was terrific…2.35 or so and very smooth.
