My Boss is in the Market for a new TV 60-65″ Range looking to spend around $2500-$3000 (upgrading a 46″ Samsung 6 series LCD)

Doesn’t Care about 3D, Mostly evening viewing

He was looking at the (Samsung PN59D8000)

I haven’t had much experience with higher end tv’s so open to suggestions at what will be calibrator friendly without a video processor.

look at the 65″ pannys.
If considering an s series…put on a DUO as a head unit.

would like to get something that will give great control/results without the use of a DUO.

A Duo and the Panny S series 65″ fit into the Under $3000 range. 🙂

Just get a Samsung then … usually a series in the 6000 or higher range.

On the Bargain front, the 60inch LG plasmas PK550 series type are easily found for $1500 or less and calibrate well although the CMS needs finessing but things turn out okay there too when approached correctly.
