    By “cross cable” are you referring to the RS-232 cable being a null-modem cable or a pass-through? Or is a cross cable something different than both of these?

    I’ve got one coming up and I want to make sure that I have the right cable. The one I use for ELITE is pass through. Same cable, or different?

    Null Modem RS-232 cable is a cross over cable..

    Pins (Null Modem):

    2 2
    .X
    3 3

    Pins (Straight-through):

    2 – 2
    3 – 3

    Most Displays/Projectors (and other HT equipment) need a Null Modem RS-232 cable, Pioneers are the rare exception…

    Thanks Shawn. I have a few other questions about this projector. Where should we continue this discussion, here? Or elsewhere. Gregg mentioned not to discuss here.

    create a thread with the model # in the title.
    Do not do this in the Service access area.
