I’m preparing to calibrate this older projector and am a little confused by the “Cinema Color Management” section in the user manual.

It shows a table for 8 “Points” (Point 1, Point 2, etc), each one having a Color, Tint, and Bright setting.

Before going to the customers house, I’d like to understand what this is. Any info?

I’m going to take a wild guess that this is a convoluted CMS that doesn’t work and should just be avoided….. 🙂

All info welcome! (the rest of the controls look pretty straight forward).

One other question….

This unit has a 3 level Gamma Adjustment… High/Mid/Low. I’ve never seen this before (and don’t recall it from class). Any tips on how to approach this adjustment?

It may not work right at all but mid usually handles 40-70 range

Cinema Color… Put up red box and put cursor on it… Activate that and it lets you adjust cms for red. Process and save… Then do for another color.

Does not always work right but play with it.
