Pioneer KRM600M

Hey all,

Received a request to calibrate the new NA version of the Pioneer KRM600M. Anyone know if Turbe has wriiten a profile for this one yet? Can we use an existing profile to interface…or will the Sencore profile work? Anyone with experience on the 500M or 600M as yet? Does it behave like the 141?

I just got a message from him today saying he was pretty close to having a profile for the non-Elite monitors. From what he said in the message, it sounds like he’s probably days to maybe 2 weeks away from releasing the first version.

Hi Doug,

I got the same messege. Thanks for letting me know. I have actually had another request for this same panel, so it looks like these may become a bit popular for the near term. Now, the question will be, does it behave like the signature series where you have to fully calibrate each input.

Hi Gregg,

Since I haven’t worked on a Sinature series as yet, I am under the assumption that each input needs a full calibration and copying settings from one input to the next will not work…correct?

no…copying should work just fine….at least get you in the ball park.

turbe sent me an email today letting me know that the standard profile was now available and in psuedo-beta testing. He is waiting to hear back from the testers…anyone on here doing the testing? I guess this profile should by able to do the new Kuro 500M/600M/101/141 panels.

Have you tried the Sencore software that is on this site..I got it directly from a pioneer tech that said it worked with all the 8G, 9G and
monitors.

Hey Ray,

No I have not. Since I already had paid for Controlcal….before I got the Sencore software….

Also, not sure if the Sencore will interface with the new 600M/500M. Don’t feel like travelling 4 hours to find out, but that was also a question in my original post and no one posted a response regarding the Sencore interface. 🙂 I would rather have a known product if it works. Turbe just released this yesterday to interface with the signature series displays.

Anyway, I will try it out once I I go to the clinet’s house. I just want to have something in hand that specifically addresses those models without taking a chance it doesn’t work. Awfully long drive to find out…nope.
