Hi Folks,
I recently did calibration for Samsung A900b and would like to share the experience with you.
I’s not a typical PJ calibration since some of the calibrations needed access of service menu especially grayscale & gamma.
The difference was if we enter RGB’s raw values like x, y, Y in the service menu after measuring the test patterns included in the PJ itself, the PJ calculate the others automatically and we can have decent grayscale.
And for the gamma, the gamma curves available in user menu is only three and they’re far from the 2.2 or 2.3 so we have to choose different gammas from service menu to get the flat 2.2 or 2.3. There were more than 4 user set of gamma available in the service menu.
service menu : MENU, RETURN, INFO, EXIT, Power ON in sequential order
