    Hello,

I must to control a Samsung LED version UE40F6510, through RS232 protocol and I can’t see the physical 3.5mm connector.
I active the option inside the menu service :

Put the TV into Standby Mode, press [Info] then [Menu] then [Mute] and then [Power] when the TV turns on is shows a new Service Menu.
    2. Enabled the Hotel Option, and Set the RS-232 interface to UART.

Everything is all right only I don’t see the physical plug to connect the 3.5mm jack.

    Do you have some idea?

    Thank you for your help,

    Regards

    Hi Gerald,

I’m not from Samsung TV but from LFD (Large Format Display) professional. In Europe CE TV’s don’t have a RS-232 control capabilities, the 3,5 mm stereo jack is only for Service. Only Samsung TV’s in the USA have RS-232 control capabilities.
