Has anyone calibrated the Samsung LED (UN55B7000WF) yet? I did one yesterday and it had poor uniformity. At times, it was almost unwatchable because of how distracting it was. I was just wondering if anyone else had the same issues.

well why didn’t you fix it for them? We taught you how to do that in class. 😉

Was that at the end of the last day when everything was powered down and dark?

No … we did it when you were out in the washroom during one of the breaks. We were watching you closely too .. 🙂

The technique was adapted from this methodology: http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=de5_1231712181 .

I’ve calibrated a few of the 40″ models in the B7000 series. I have’t seen any uniformity issues on the smaller screens.
But I do suspect EDGE-LED technology will be likely to have issues with uniformity, in the larger sizes, due to the distance between the light source and the middle of the screen.
