Sharp LC-37G4U w/avc break out box service mode entry

I tried all of the provided service menu code entries multiple times with no luck. Should they work with this older lcd display or is there another technique that I should be trying?

If one of the techniques listed is the correct one, is there any tricks I should be using like a certain time to press -vol and input as the display is plugged back in?

After doing some research I found out how to enter the service mode for this model.

Power down with the MAIN POWER button on the display.
On the display, press and hold VOLUME (-) and INPUT, then press the MAIN POWER button.
When you turn the TV is on a small K will appear on the left of the screen.
Then press VOLUME (-) and CH (-) press at the same time on the display and the service the menu will appear

Just an FYI or if RayJr, Gregg, or Micheal want to add this to the service menu access part of the forum.

Did you have to unplug the TV in order to exit from the service menu? If so, Michael’s MX980 code may come in very handy in this instance.

Nope, no need to unplug the tv for this model at least.
