Hey guys, just on site after doing the sharp calibration and I wanted to get some feedback from those that have done this panel before. I didn’t get much of a chance to see it before and this is the first time we’ve done this display before but….

I’m noticing that the display has good color, but it seems to have a lot of digital noise /static in the background on different media types. Not sure if it’s a contrast ratio issue, the fact it’s 60 LCD/led,

Just curious to see what others think of this display….

I’ve done similar but not identical models (732,830,734,735,820, etc). Yes, they do have some added graininess, and turning the DNR on can cause a glazed over effect. Changing the Red CMS Value adjustment too drastically can have unexpected side effects, and the Red CMS Tint needs to be double checked by eye as it may not look best with what the meter recommends.

Phew, glad to know… I thought this panel was gonna be better then this but the more I play with it, the less I like it. My red cms value is -1. Red cms saturation is -2, red cms hue is +4.

I saw several other reports of the cms having a 50/50 chance of working and colors being off but wasn’t expecting this much static in the background.
