Sony KDL46V5100

I recently tried to calibrate a sony kdl46v5100, getting into the service menu was easy enough, but there were no options for calibrators. Am I missing something? All I saw in the service menu was a few options for user input copying, factory reset, auto calibration, and some other stuff but no kind of gray scale, gamma, or color management of any kind. Does anyone have any experience with this tv? Much appreciated.

calibrate in the user menu for sony sets …

there is no cms … that is life.

Sony sets all have their stuff in the user side. Unless the tv is really a budget budget unit then you have to go into the sm …

There is no cms on these sets and never has been.

Remember, you can always download the user manual from the sony site to see what the menus look like before hand.
