    Hi Group,
I have a friend with a Sony LCD panel. The whole panel has a green cast to the color except for the lower right corner. Any thoughts?
    Thanks
    Vince

    hi V
it was most likely damaged in shipping….somthing pressed against the screen.

Thanks Gregg. After looking at some other information, I’m thinking it could be the “green blob” which I understand involves the optical block (like I know what that is). Sony has extended the warranty on many units to deal with this. Check out this site.

The warranty angle is worth a try.

I thought that was a issue with there RPTV’s not flat panels.

is this a panel or RPTV?

If a RPTV, most definitely an optical block issue. Call sony for warranty repair or replacement.
