    Gregg,
OK, I passed the test and completed the calibrations which have been approved. What’s next?
The THX contract? Is there a certificate?

    hi Vince
You need to sign and then fax the contract to THX.
Then…email Pwalker@thx.com and ask to be placed on the THX site. I believe he has certificates too.
    Welcome aboard!!!

Just wanted to verify there is a certificate. If so I guess I need to hit Paul up for it.

Am I the only one who has noticed that the video calibrator contract is outdated? Most specifically for those of us who have just completed the class in September.
It actually states in the opening paragraph that this is an amendment to the home theater I and II agreement that we the signee have already entered into. The second paragraph states that we have satisfied the requirements for home theater tech I and II.
Para 2 says the contract expires on 12/31/09.
Para 3b says we must re certify by 12/31/08.
I submitted an email to THX training to address this issue. Seems like something that can be fixed relatively easily.

Oh crap! I guess I have to take Level I & II now! Can we assemble an emergency session of Level I & II for all us Level III holders?

    Gregg,

I was referring to this statement. I have not, at least, satisfied the requirment for Home Theater Tech II, which I should be, according to the contract which I signed. Therefore I am in violation of the contract, hence the need for the emergency Level I & II session to bring all of us who have not met the Level II requirment in order to be in agreement with the contract. Alas, I was trying to be “funny” which, of course, is now, not the case.
