USB HUB and USB axtive extenders from monoprice

I just wanted to share that I have used this hub and these active extenders for the last few calibrations and they have made an enormous difference. Evidentially much of the freezing, skipping, slowness, and general bugs, etc., that I attributed to calman instability were actually a result of weak usb’s on my laptop. I will never calibrate again without them.

monoprice brand Go to http://www.monoprice.com The part numbers are: 5328 for the hub and 8659 for the active extenders.

do you always use the extenders or only if you need the extra length?

so far I have appreciated the convenience of the extra length even with flat panels…but i would not be shocked if just the hub was enough.
