Last weekend I calibrated one of the Vizio 47″ Full Array LED backlit sets. The color gamut turned out awesome! I was really impressed with this set (I’m a plasma guy) and would recommend this set to a client over any of the big brand’s edge lit models.

I have read some reports about the LED-based sets losing light output and having color shifts as the panel ages. It seems this happens not long into the display’s life.
Does anyone have more information regarding this apparent issue/defect with LED LCD’s?
