Simple question: Are there discs out there (apart from calibration discs) that we know use white above 235? I made the statement on an AVForums thread that contrast should ideally be set to display up to 253 using the AVSHD709 disc and now someone wants to know if there are actually any movies we know of that use white above 235. Any one?

The Movie WhiteOut has stuff close to 254 … Ice Age films have stuff out to 245 range …

hi guys
the THX Pattern package for the QD has a whiter than white pattern. It also does up to 109% in the THX window patterns.
