I will confirm that the interface now works.
It is a bit buggy. If you change the gamma preset, you will have to redo the gray scale work.
ensure that the out of C3 interface measurments are the same as while in the interface mode.

hit a and then b to enter the service mode.

then cycle 1/2 to find the white balance paramter page….
the on screen menus will then tell you what you need to do.
9 button to cycle to the various modes.
3/4 buttons to select parameter
vol up and down to change the value of the parameter.

THEN HIT THE C button to save.

After this…you will have to get off your butt and hold the power button down on the display until the unit recycles.

the QD 780 will display patterns…I am not sure of the format required…but it needs to match resolutions.
They are also developing more 3d patterns and also the 0-16 and 235-255 ones as well.

geometry and convergence is the same with all mits. [/font]
You may have to do the horizontal positioning in 2257 and then the others in 2259 (convergence). You generally control positioning by moving the green convergence in coarse mode. [/font]
I would not recommend doing a lot of resizing on this display. It will have burn in by now (raster burn) so you may see burn lines if you resize.[/font]
Also careful with moving the image around (and also resize). These sets are notorious for convergence IC problems….you are just asking for problems if you do (as this will stress the ICs).

remember that a good cleaning will do wonders (mirror, top and bottom of the lense) and also the crt face.[/font]

the interface is out but does not currently work on the Pannys.
The gray scale and the AGC control is not adjustable in th ISF modes.

i think you mean natural and not normal?

Use bright and brllliant and then do what ever gray scale adjustment you can in via the service menu. the Adv / ISF modes have severe gamma and color decoding issues (despite being able to hit Rec 709 on a 75% stimulus window).
