on newer models, use the user menu.

You also have to use the Jump command to get to one of 4? menu systems. Once at a menu system then use the 1-3 and 4 and 6 controls.

yes, i would start by putting the SM #s back to their defaults.
Try another display and get the values off of that.
Use the consumer controls when ever possible.

Perhaps you had the display on a preset color temp setting that was too far off of D65 to be pulled in via the user menu controls ??

If you are still having problems, send me a brief (and to the point) email and I will forward it to Samsung for you. Im sure they would also have a copy of the default values. Please indicate which menu tree you were in where you accessed and adjusted the WB service menu parameters.

you need a computer with serial, or a serial to USB adapter. Ive never not been able to access a port (out of 100 plus Elite jobs). There is no proper color management on any Pioneer set. On the non elite Pioneers you can not even set the gray scale without this software.

To change the default user parameters, use the jump button to find one of the 3-4 sub menus. The items you want to adjust are the Ubrt Ushp Upic etc. Make sure you save prior to exiting.

    BMB, BMR, BNB

    No idea

GGH vs GGL is for Gain Greeen High vs Low. So there are 2 color temps for adjustment. They are gobal. some of the Mits have 3 High Med and Low.

I adjust High to 9300, Med to 7500 and Low to D 65.

please ask that question in the URC 980 thread.

not all remotes will work when you access that button. I am not sure what model #s will work.
The easiest solution is to get a URC 980 remote and use the codes from that.

use the audio and video buttons.
One of them jumps to each menu, the other does the individual items in each menu.
You then use the cursor up and down buttons to change the parameter value.
Hit the enter button to save.
Hit the menu button to exit.

    hi Marcus
there are definitely WB controls. Do not use the user menus.
First there are x y coordinates which will correspond to the various color temp presets. There are also CCA controls.
Are you coming to CEDIA? Let me know and I can go through some Sammy stuff with you there (we have 3 sammy displays in the classroom).
