The THX mode is quite easy. do the front panel controls in the user menu, then enter the service mode to do the gray scale. This is the cinema mode setting (warm 2). Remeasure out of the service mode to ensure they are the same.
You need Calman or ControlCal to access and label the ISF modes on the VT50. Keep in mind that it is just a relabelling of the Pro mode.

Please note at the topic of this forum it says:Do not post questions in this area…they will be lost due to the alphabetization of the Models.

Keymasteryou can use the professional mode and all the controls are accessible. Kind of a pain though.
If you use controlcal it makes it much simplier to adjust.Gregg Loewen
Keymastergo to the panasonic threads in the service mode access area.
The THX mode is the cinema mode. All you do in the SM is the cinema mode gray scale.
Check it in and out of the service mode to ensure it is accurate. You should be able to get all delta Es at less than 1.5Gregg Loewen

it “should” be pretty straight forward (as all sonys are).
Almost all have white balance controls in the advanced part of the user menu. On a couple of models, you have to enter the service mode (look at other models for access).
There are no color management controls, look for a color gamut control (in the user menu….nothing in the service mode).
