ive worked on a few of the panny 300s now…they do not have the black level of a kuro.

does it really matter? (definitely no, if you use a back light).

this is the firm ware update….connect to the DUO via usb and then go to the menu and use the update commend. Drag this into the window that pops up.

You will need to change the file extension to .abt

with the TV off
display – 5 – vol up – power on.

If the above doesnt work, replace the batteries in the remote.

i carry lots of adapters….bnc to rca (rarely used), USB extension cables (3 of these), serial cable, null modem serial cable, extension serial cable, various serial port adapters and extenders.

I also carry a IR remote extender (2 small pyramid looking things) from Radio Shack. This tool has been extremely valuable for gear racks that are in a different room.

Also a few extra batteries, in case the clients remote control dies or if my accupel remote dies.

I also carry a 2nd laptop.

yeah….i keep an old accupel for svideo and component output. The 4000 accupel also has issues on some panels and passing the signal (mainly noticed with certain AVRs)

You do not unplug…you hold down the power button on the panel until it resets.
Not sure if this is the cause ??

Use 3M double sided foam tape, then use black felt to line. You can get this at any fabric store. Becareful that you get felt that will stick will to the 3M tape as not all types of felt will. Dont be afraid to use LOTS of the tape.
