The THX software will not allow for expanding the color gamut (for now anyways).

most likely they are not any default settings.
did you write the start values down?

What I have seen on Toshibas….the numbers are in hex code. You can go up to make a change, but if you go down (even 1 click) the display will go “weird”.

However most people tend to watch sports with some lights on, so set it up as a day time mode…..gamma 1.8-2.o ish, and light output at 50 fL.

This display of the IRE is a bug on the QD generator (nothing to do with CalMan or ChromaPure).

My apologies…I didnt see this post until now.

My best guess…
this is in reference to color space and whether the source / display is working in RGB or component video. Think RGB as computer color, think component as television with a black and white canvas, then the color over lay.

the example on the right is with selecting the correct com port, then hitting test, this is what you should see.

the example on the left is the screen after the one on the right, where you select the settings for the QD.
