Keymasterhi guys
Vince, glad you got yours…(and that they are finally shipping).
Between the HT and Video classes, THX has trained more than 6000 people…that means 6000 mailings (the logistics of mailing to that many people in a cost effective manor must be enormous).Gregg Loewen
KeymasterChad, good to know.
In the gamma section of the software, you have to write to the PJ after you make the adjustment.
(vs the other settings that are done in real time).Gregg Loewen
KeymasterHere is the new ISF software

Keymasterstay tuned…Im still looking

Keymasterhi guys
Try the ISF software.
The THX software will not allow for expanding the color gamut (for now anyways).April 14, 2011 at 10:18 pm in reply to: Toshiba Service Menu White Balance Controls – Default Settings #2045Gregg Loewen
Keymasterdown, meaning below the initial start value, not the up adjusted start value.

Keymastermost likely they are not any default settings.
did you write the start values down? What I have seen on Toshibas….the numbers are in hex code. You can go up to make a change, but if you go down (even 1 click) the display will go “weird”.
dunno.

Keymasternot really
they should be the same.
However most people tend to watch sports with some lights on, so set it up as a day time mode…..gamma 1.8-2.o ish, and light output at 50 fL.Gregg Loewen
Keymaster1. cms does not work.
2.
Looked through all 32 pages and didn’t see anything that look like saving/writing.
it is just below the gamma settings on each page.

Keymasterlook at the 65″ pannys.
If considering an s series…put on a DUO as a head unit.Gregg Loewen
Keymasterhi guys
Im doing my first official rs60 right now.
It is almost perfect in THX out of the box (when THX is tweeked).
Ill post more over the next couple of days (with some charts etc).Gregg Loewen
KeymasterHi Chad
I will send this over to the JVC guys for their comments. thank you.February 23, 2011 at 2:04 pm in reply to: Communication issue between laptop and QD pattern generator and 780 drivers added #1997Gregg Loewen
Keymaster(if displayed) doesn’t change
This display of the IRE is a bug on the QD generator (nothing to do with CalMan or ChromaPure).

KeymasterHI Ron
My apologies…I didnt see this post until now.My best guess…
this is in reference to color space and whether the source / display is working in RGB or component video. Think RGB as computer color, think component as television with a black and white canvas, then the color over lay.February 21, 2011 at 11:28 pm in reply to: Communication issue between laptop and QD pattern generator and 780 drivers added #2000Gregg Loewen

the example on the right is with selecting the correct com port, then hitting test, this is what you should see.
the example on the left is the screen after the one on the right, where you select the settings for the QD.
